Greetings Ingrid,
I agree, it is time, that we talk from our humanity to the others humanity and this will help us to finally feel, live and express unconditional love to all our brothers and sisters. What a wonerful world we will make when we do this.
Thank you Scott, thank you Jo-Beth, for your posts!
Tears in my eyes for all the suffering in all our pasts. I am German and when I was about twelve years old and learned in the History lesson about WW II and saw pictures of the Concentration Camps, I ran out of the classroom and had to vomit. When I came home, I asked my father during lunch, what he had done during the war and he shouted at me and asked, how I dared to ask him such a question....My father was a regular soldier, and when he talked about the war, he talked about the beautiful women in Paris and about how he had got himself and his comrades some food in Russia and he repeated again and again, that he hadn't shut anybody. I personally do not know one man of his generation who admitted, that he had shot someone, they all claimed, they hadn't and I got very cynic about that in earlier years of my life.....
Scott, you are right, we have to get things right ones and for all and in this attempt at least you and your comrades are not alone. It is time to share our hope and trust and also sometimes listen to each other, when one feels the need to talk about his/her wounds, it is part of the process and I deeply honour every soul who does so and appreciate it, because it is the appreciation for each other and their paths and for what they offered on their path. It is time, that we talk from our humanity to the others humanity and this will help us to finally feel, live and express unconditional love to all our brothers and sisters. Namaste to both of you and thank you again!
I have decorated service mens pictures displayed in my home of my family members. Of course when my father served in the military during WWII he did what he was called to do and did so for that reason for it was his calling. A few years earlier my maternal grandfather served in the military leaving his wife with one child and another on the way because he could not bear his brothers being over their during the war while he was safe a home working his JOB.
So he joined the other military men and women to beat the bad guys.
Our family lost two out of four brothers, all very proud to give their lives and to live out the G/R. "An Eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” I understand that all cultures have this belief to some degree; history tells stories of how we/me are more than willing to be vengeful.
I had a dream last night and woke this morning crying. I have to share it with you here.
Dream,
I was on my way home. The flight I was to take was delayed and I was insistent that I make it home. So I pleaded that someone help me get there. This man in military clothes came up to me and said I could fly with him. He embraced me and said that when he was ready to go he would come let me know and I could join him. Then he gave me half of something and was gone. I spent some more time going about the town and was in contact with my husband who said he was nearby and would come and get me. Then I remembered the man who said he would take me home. I rushed back to the airport and waited for the man, he said lets go we are ready he showed me to this enormous plane I could see the cargo was full of children some were sick and some were hurt and some looked fine. What I noticed in my dream was that the man of courage had such a profound effect on those children in his cargo hull. That
even though they were separated from their parents and some ill they were not afraid. The one boy who I knew was sick let me hold him briefly then courageously went back to his place in the cargo hull. I spoke to the soldier who gave me half of something and told him that my husband had contacted me and was going to take me home, I thanked him and I said goodbye to him. End of dream
Seeing your posting today reminded me of the dream I remembered this morning, So I sharing this story.
It was like I made peace with my warrior self and my other natures. I still want to cry just because it felt powerfully real.
I do think something great can happen for mankind. I think the way to it is to love one another unconditionally.
Thanks for following your path and please see the value in others paths as well. Share more with us on the forum.... we have a topic called the Conscious Convergence. I would like to hear from you on this topic.
