The Shift of the Ages is a dramatic documentary film that reveals the story of the Mayan culture and its sophisticated prophecies of time, as told for the first time by the Grand Elder of the Mayan people, Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj. Commissioned on behalf of the Maya nation, the Shift of the Ages is the first official discourse to the world from the Mayan Council of Elders, intended to dispel misconceptions and replace them with the positive story about this incredible period of time for humanity. Known as “Wandering Wolf,” Don Alejandro is the elected Grand Elder of the living Maya, former Ambassador in the Guatemalan Government, and mystical Aj Q’ji, or timekeeper of tradition.
Common Passion Concordance Calls: Shift of the Ages
All the buzz and importance of December 21, 2012 can be attributed ultimately to one single source: The great wisdom and perseverance of the Maya, who are very much alive and with us today. For over 500 hundred years Mayan Elders have held the flame of humanity’s greater purpose through their prophecies, teachings, ceremonies, dance, language and day-to-day living within their Sacred Calendar, the Tzolkin.
This ancient wisdom, shared with the world now at this most auspicious time, is what Common Passion’ s Shift of the Ages Global Concordance Program will revolve around in the next 90 days, starting Thursday, November 15th. Our mission is to honor the Maya; to awaken and celebrate the realization of humanity’s oneness as we transition to a new age – a new Sun – through the teachings and wisdom of Mayan prophecies and Elders, specifically their elected Grand Elder, Wakatel Utiw, “Wandering Wolf.”
These calls discuss the significance of each Tzolkin date and prophecy for the first half, followed by a guided meditation by Joseph Giove or Barbara Sadtler at the second half. We hope you will join us!
